Donald Bennett Stafford collection, 1938-1970.

The collection consists of 8x10 inch and oversize aerial photographs of South Carolina between 1938 and 1970. The 8x10 photographs are individual aerial photographs of specific areas in a county. There are two types of oversize photographs: 20x25 inch composite aerial photographs of South Carolina counties based upon splicing together a number of aerial photographs and a 25x25 inch series of individual aerial photographs for parts of Greenville and Spartanburg counties. The photographs are arranged by size and thereafter alphabetically by county and therein chronologically.
